 Sr Informatica ETL developer
Duration: 5 months

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Rate: $55/hr





Short Description:
* The person must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding using the
Informatica PowerCenter client tools.
* Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor, Repository Manager
* PowerExchange is a plus but not a requirement
Complete Description:
The person must have a good general understanding on what it takes to move
large volumes of data on an incremental basis.
Work with business users to clarify ETL requirements and business rules
* Design, develop, implement, and assist in validating ETL processes
* Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation
requirements.
* Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune ETL processes.
* Document all ETL related work per company's methodology
* Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed
* Ensure that all timelines of loading/validating data are met
* Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, production and staging
environments
Experience with developing an ETL lifecycle. Review and recommend the
appropriate Informatica architecture configuration as well as database and
hardware landscape.
* Expert level Informatica development experience. Understand reusability,
parameterization, workflow design, etc.
* Experience developing ETL processes using Informatica * ETL control
tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc.
* Developing mappings / sessions / workflows
* Developing 100+ mappings to show that they have actually developed many
ETL jobs
* Performance tuning including but not limited to reading & understanding
session logs to identify bottlenecks
