*Title:*  HRIS Systems Analyst/Data Analyst**

*Location:* Newbury Park, CA

*Duration:*  6 Months +

*Start date:* Immediate






*Job Description:*
Analyst will provide HR and Payroll system support to the HRIS,
Compensation, Benefits, Finance and Payroll managers, supervisors and users.
This individual will partner with the HRIS and IT staff to provide support
for HR and other users on all the integration points between core systems
and HR applications as well as system interfaces/feeds to 3rd parties to
support service awards, benefits, education and retirement programs. The
Analyst will also develop and deploys HRIS reports and answer Ceridian
reporting related questions.


*Duties and Responsibilities:*
Assisting user departments with determination of needs/scope based on
analysis of business requirements and process design.
Translating user business requirements into functional specifications;
testing and implementing the programs.
Reviewing system functionality, current operational problems and determining
required enhancements needed to improve system functionality and data
interfaces while meeting business needs.
Understanding and interpreting Ceridian HR and Payroll data structures and
generating reporting based upon the data parameters.
Collaborating with IT and 3rd parties (e.g., Ceridian) to develop, test and
implement business and technical enhancements.
Accountable for business and systems knowledge associated with the analysis,
design and development of business solutions for the HR organization.
Responsible for partnering with Ceridian professional services to create,
test and upload data imports.

*Qualifications:*
*SQL *
Ceridian HRIS
Advanced Excel and Access experience
Professional data reporting and analysis, data analytics and data mining
Ability to make recommendations based on the interpretation of quantitative
analysis
Ability to work with key stakeholders to input qualitative data to support
metrics and build a story.
Understanding written and spoken sentences and paragraphs in work related
documents.
3- 5 years experience leading/project managing small scale integration and
HR solution projects
Familiarity with self-service applications preferred.
2- 3 years experience coordinating and interacting with vendors
Communicating effectively speaking and writing as appropriate for the needs
of the audience.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and
future problem-solving and decision-making.
Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
8+  years of HR technical function experience
8 + years of Ceridian HRIS System experience, including HPW DB tables, Power
Query, Data Exchange (Import / Export), Mass Edit, Data Exchange (Import and
Export Formats), and Data Scrub.
Experience with APD Enterprise is also preferred
Minimum 5 years of SQL experience which includes complex table joins, script
troubleshooting, use of date ranges including record modified, record add,
and record updated.
