Job Title : Web Developer Location : Hartford,CT Duration : 6-9 Months contract Skills Required: We are looking for an ECommerce developer with in depth understanding of J2EE Web Application Development with intermediate but solid knowledge in these tools and platforms: • Experience and skill designing & developing Web Pages using HTML, DHTML & Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). • Fluent HTML scripting including complex tables, frames, image maps and browser incompatibilities / idiosyncrasies and resolving diverse screen resolutions. • Experience and skill in scripting using Java Script / VB Script. • Solid Understanding of how information is deployed on the WEB. Content Management Experience a plus. • Experience and skill in using XML. • Experience and skill in developing & deploying JSP / Servlet applications in a BEA WebLogics environment. • Experience and skill in Apache Struts & Log4j Frameworks. • Experience and skill in Spring & Hibernate. • Knowledge of J2EE Architectural frameworks. • Expericne and skill in understanding & using J2EE Design Patterns especially MVC. • Understanding & usage of J2EE technologies like Java Web Services, JMS, JDBC, RMI, JTA, Java Mail, JMX etc. • Experience and skill in understanding & using ANT Build Tool. • Experience and skill using Oracle / SQL. • Experience with object oriented development. Additional helpful technical experience to have includes C++, Solaris (UNIX) operating system, CVS source code management, TOAD, and FTP.
