That only works for the first 99 revisions. Several of the modules in the Mason repository are at over 200 revisions!.
Then use "%d.%03d" or increment the major version occasionally! My module will handle an unlimited amount of subversions, though the numify() operator assumes <999 subversions (and it handles branches just fine).
