I seem to remember a thread at some point discussing the way to sort & filter messages that come from the list. I'd check the archive but lists.perl.org seems to be down at the moment. At the risk of asking a really old and probably previously answered question, here goes.
Doubt it would have been in this list. Its a lot more general than datetime. It would (should) have been in the microsoft.application.outlook.support list or group or some such.
What I want to do is apply some inbound rules in Outlook to take the messages from this list and shove them into a given folder. I do this with other lists either with the subject line where the listname is always in the subject or with one of the additional headers set by the list manager.
The 'To:' header normally contains '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', however I imagine the 'Delivered-To:' field would always contain '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', (only MS might not let you filter on anything other than To, From or Subject.)
While I'm asking, what's the URL for the archive? Some other way to get to it other than the perl.org link? I know I've had problems in the past with the perl.org and lists.perl.org page.
There's a few places to read the archive, check the datetime website (http://datetime.perl.org) under 'Mailing List'. You can also read them with an NNTP (news) client (which MS have built into outlook(express)). Just set your server to 'nntp.perl.org', then you can 'subscribe' to the datetime group. It will then appear in the lefthand column in Outlook.
