0.18 2003-06-06 - Switched the internal data structure for the Olson database to use array references instead of hash references. This seems to save a reduce memory usage to about 66% of the hash based version. Additionally, the files themselves have gotten much smaller. This was all partially based on a patch by Eugene van der Pijll.
