So it's a possibility if we were parsing reported speech? Personally, I don't worry too much about a lot of these 'natural' formats. Given the sheer ambiguity of them I wouldn't want my programs to be able to do anything with them. What are people using them for that they want to be able to parse them? cheers, -- Iain.
