I was trying to install to directories under my home directory (not the sitewide perl directories), and I suspected that might have been the problem. So I asked the hosting company to install the module for me, but they also reported it would not install. (Don't know if they received the same error I did or not.)
Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem or how to fix it?
