- Fixes a major bug in 0.61. Passing "local" as a time zone new to
DateTime::TimeZone->new() caused a fatal error.
0.61 2007-02-18
- Lots of internal changes in the code used to determine a system's
local time zone.
- As a result, we now have a much better method for doing this on
Windows systems, by looking at the registry. See
DateTime::TimeZone::Local::Win32 for details.
Note that I deleted 0.61 right after I uploaded it, because of the bug
fixed in 0.6101.
If Windows users could confirm that they can determine their local
time zone properly, that'd be great. I tested this in WinXP (via VMWare)
and it worked fine for me, but more feedback would be nice.
