In my on-going endeavour to grab fun DateTime modules,
half serious DateTime modules and niche DateTime modules,
I have set my sights on DateTime::Event::NameDay.
Can I be a co-maintainer (or even the "first come" maintainer)
for this module?

Am I competent enough to maintain this module?

The algorithm is not rocket science, so I am confident with this part.
Also, I am the French son of a French father and a French mother,
raised in France and I have always lived in France (not counting
touristic trips). For this reason, it was easy for me to spot the
error reported in
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=121113
"Rameaux" is not a nameday, it is the French name of an Easter-related
mobile feast, in this case "Palm sunday".

On the other hand, I have no cultural links with the three other
languages featured in DT::E::NameDay: Swedish, Slovakian and Greek.
So I cannot spot a similar bug in these languages.

On the gripping hand, patchs are welcome. And I can still use
"wikipedia translate", although it is a tedious process.
If you look at my Github repository, you can see that I have
already done some Slovakian fixes at
https://github.com/jforget/DateTime-Event-NameDay/commit/2bf61c2921ffe1bc38f8850fd8ac51ec8d830cd1

Am I dedicated enough to maintain this module?

You may notice that I have worked on this module in November last year
and that I have done nothing since then until this message. This is
not because I lost interest in this module, but because I was busy
elsewhere. Each time I have shuffled my todo list, DT::E::NameDay was
buried deep inside this list. If you look at the timestamps in my
backpan directory (including the Perl6 subdirectory), you will notice
that I have 8 CPAN releases in 2019, as many as my most prolific year,
2015. I may be less prolific than other CPAN authors, but when
compared with my older self, I am as prolific as ever.

On the other hand, has anybody else been working on this module?
Other CPAN authors are busy elsewhere, now I am ready to work on
this module and release a new version to CPAN.
