OK, i remember this one. It's just one of the infinite series of netscape bugs. It seems that by seeing AUTH inside the EHLO response it thinks that it'll be forced to authenticate and it requires the username/password A user seems to have been able to fake it by swapping : "250 AUTH LOGIN PLAIN CRAM-MD5"); to : "250 AUTH PLAIN LOGIN CRAM-MD5"); in SMTPSvr.cpp if i remember well. - Davide - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
