an SMTP server knows nothing about To:, Cc:, Bcc:, etc... that stuff is
resolved by the MUA
by setting up custom domains for domain A, B and C you simply say to the
SMTP server that it "owns" that domains and that it must process messages
coming for these domains according to the rules. if someone ( either MUA
or MTA ) send to the server a message for domain D, the server will
consider such domain as "external" and, depending on relaying settings, it
will reject or relay the message.
