There are no such messages. The syslog ( or NT Events ) are used only if
there's a failure to boot. You can run XMail in debug mode to see messages
printed on the console :

$ XMail -Md ...
C:> XMail --debug -Md ...

You probably want to use the full path for shell scripts, and fot .bat
files you need to run them using "cmd.exe /C ...".
