I built a new kernel with davinci_vpfe and tvp5146 as modules. After that i
installed the modules and started them.
They are working so far:
davinci_vpfe 16576 0
video_buf 23684 1 davinci_vpfe
tvp5146 6160 1 davinci_vpfe
Now I'm trying to use the Demo software encodedecode. It worked with the
above-named drivers as built-in drivers.
But it's not working with the modules:
$ Encodedecode demo started.
$ win: 1, hfactor:0, vfactor: 0
$ Display set to 720x576 and no zoom
$ Capturing 720x480 video (cropped to 720x480)
$ Encodedecode Error: Failed FBIO_WAITFORVSYNC (Connection timed out)
$ Encodedecode Error: Failed FBIO_WAITFORVSYNC (Connection timed out)
The problem seems to be on the display-side (davincifb). Could anyone give me
some advices how to get it working please?
