I don't have the instructions in front of me, but when I first tried this
following the instructions, I remember it said to set 'bootcmd' to
'dhcp;bootm'.

This didn't work for me, since my DHCP server is different from my TFTP
server ("dhcp" command seemed to get the IP address from the DHCP server,
then tried to TFTP from the DHCP server).

To make it work on my network, I used the 'tftpboot;bootm' commands instead.
Because I'm not using DHCP, I had to set a static IP (using "setenv ipaddr
x.x.x.x", I think), and a static IP for the TFTP server ("setenv serverip
x.x.x.x", I think? - I'm not in front of my DVEVM at the moment so can't
check).

I have no idea if this is the same issue you're seeing - but thought I'd
pass the info along just in case.

I am also having the problem using TFTP to boot the
new uImage from my dev server. Once I followed the
instruction of using tftp and put the new uImage from
Dvevm1.10 to /tftpboot/uImage, and set other booting
related envrironment, and then issue the boot command,

the evm keeps spitting out

BOOTP broadcast 1
BOOTP broadcast 2
.....
BOOTP broadcast 10
Retry count exceeded: starting again,

it seems it couldn't establish with my dev box's tftp
server, which i checked it is on and no firewall is
blocking.

thanks for any help.
