UBL stands for User Boot Loader and it is described in Chapter 12 of TI technical document sprue14.pdf (ARM SS Ref Guide for DM644x). Basically it is a next stage bootloader, loaded by the ROM boot loader, to get an even more advanced bootloader like u-boot onto your board and up and running.

My only guess is "U-Boot Loader", meaning a small program to load U-Boot onto a target(?). -- /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | \ / | Email to user 'CTZ001' X Against HTML | at 'email.mot.com' / \ in e-mail & news | _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source
