UBL stands for User Boot Loader and it is described in Chapter 12 of TI
technical document sprue14.pdf (ARM SS Ref Guide for DM644x).  Basically
it is a next stage bootloader, loaded by the ROM boot loader, to get an
even more advanced bootloader like u-boot onto your board and up and
running.

I can't find any reference...what does "UBL" stand for?  My only guess
is 
"U-Boot Loader", meaning a small program to load U-Boot onto a
target(?).
