Joachim,

Did you boot from a NFS server? That is, did you set your uboot bootargs to NFS mount/boot from a host server ip? You can’t run the restore-hdd script on the target otherwise.

Subject: Restore HDD

Restore HDD with restore-hdd script started from /dev/hda2 (mnt/restore) does not work.

I get the following message:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/mnt/restore# ./restore-hdd

This will destroy all data on /dev/hda1 - are you sure? (yes/NO) yes

Formatting /dev/hda1 ...

mke2fs 1.35 (28-Feb-2004)

/dev/hda1 is mounted; will not make a filesystem here!

If /dev/hda1 is umount manually I get the message that hda1 is not mounted. The mkfs says it is mounted?!

I want to do restore to update Harddisk from EVM V1.00 to V1.10

Regards

Joachim
