Hi Folks,
I have a custom board in house with the Davinci.
We have UBOOT-1.1.3 binary loaded into flash.
The board boots and it can execute the kernel (loaded in the flash) and download an NFS filesystem from our server.
However, I cannot seem to get any network access in UBOOT – sort of.
I can use the DHCP command in Uboot and the board will get an IP address from the server. I cannot seem to get TFTP transfer to work though.
I have the server configured to respond to the DHCP request with the IP for the TFTP server and the file name. I have also tried to manually set the IP’s and invoke tftpboot.
It seems like after the DHCP process assigns an IP address, we just get ARP packets between the board and the server. It never advanced to the TFTP transfer stage and it just sits there with the TFTP saying “timeout” in the UBOOT terminal.
Any ideas? Or do I have to recompile UBOOT, download, debug/etc to find out why?
Also, I cannot seem to ping from UBOOT…but all these functions work just fine once linux has booted. I can TFTP from linux, ping/etc.
Thanks
