Hi Anderberg,
  I want to know whether the Davinci target board that i have mentioned has X-windows by default and if at all it has one such then how to enable it.

I will come to the process what i did
1.  I crosscompiled X11R7.1 on FC5 kernel 2.6.15 and sfter cross compiling i installed it on to a dir.
Now i copied that dir to the target davinci board.When i run startx i get error

I have specified the target as arm-linux-gnu while compiling.
I have installed everything available in the Xorg 7.1 source.
Am i missing some thing or am i going right.
If i am right till now then i am missing the configuration.
How to configure.
Please help me .......
I have strugled a lot in making this work..

I have montavista linux on this board.
Now i came to know that this board has X-windows on-board by default.
Is it true?? if true how to enable this Xwindows.
If not true then anyone who has installed X-windows on this board provide me the steps
for doing so....
