Hi Kevin -

I've never create a patch file before, but did a Google and think I've got
the right thing.

I used "diff -up /path/to/unmodified/source/file.c
/path/to/modified/source/file.c > patchfile.patch" to generate the patch - I
hope that's correct.

NOTE: This patch is for the kernel that comes with DVSDK 1.10
(linux-2.6.10_mvl401).  I don't have a checkout of the current git tree
handy, so can't create that patchfile at the moment.

I've attached the patch to this message.  Please let me know if there's a
problem with it.

Can you send your fix as a patch?  I will see that it gets integrated into
the stable kernel and the open-source git tree.
