Gentlemen,

I have TI Davinci evaluation module with MontaVista Linux kernel supplied as
part of SDK. As I can understand it is labeled as 2.6.10_mvl402 (makefile
says 2.6.10 & localversion says _mvl402).

How this kernel is related to 2.6.10_mvl401 and is it possible to have this
patch for my kernel version too?

And, by the way, I am MontaVista customer and I know that there is a
"MontaVistaR LinuxR Professional Edition 4.0.1" release. Seems it is a
latest one. Is kernel 2.6.10_mvl401 part of this release?

That tree is not publicly available. The DVSDK kernel is a MontaVista
product (which I maintain as a MontaVista engineer.) I will merge this
patch and the patch will be available to DVSDK customers.
