When USB drive is ported, it gets mounted as SCSI. Why?

with warm regards,

Hi all,

I am trying to find the CSL (Chipset library) api documents for using the
DMA feature of C64x+ DSP in DaVinci processor.

Can anyone help me out in this regard to find some info about the same?
Regards,
Muneendra.

Hello !

I am drawing some graphics and video on a LCD (attached to DC5) while
executing a program on the DSP. There is no interaction between both and
they haven't any shared memory areas.

Sometimes I see the OSD 'shifted' to the right for an instant, specially
when the DSP is performing a memcpy on the DDR2.
This effect never appears on video windows, only on the OSD one.
This effect does not happen if I use the analog output, but it appears if I
use the LCD attached to DC5.

Has somebody any idea about what could be happening?

Many thanks,
Carlos

The effect appears even if I don't execute any program on the arm.
(it happens only on the LCD attached to DC5 and specially when the DSP do
some memcpy) The 'shift' on the OSD is not always the whole screen...

Many thanks,
Carlos

Carlos,

May be some bandwidth issue or bus sharing

Is that a big single memcpy() ?
If yes, can you try looping around smaller shots ?

If the DSP is doing a long copy, may be the bus is not released enough for
the OSD. But this would not really explain why it occurs only for the OSD
plane and not the

Jean-Michel.
