Hi Andy,

I suggest you look into buying the DVSDK, which should enable you to
develop on the DSP side. It is a great way to save you from the many
headaches of trying to gather a tested permutation of the various
software.

If you really wish to do this on your own, here is what's being used in
the DVSDK for your reference (not sure if you will find these exact
versions on the external web):

BIOS 5.30.00.11
xDAIS 5.00
Framework Components 1.00.03
Codec Engine 1.02

Best regards,
Vincent

Subject: What version fo DSP/BIOS, xDAIS, Frame Components do I need?

Hi,

I just updated my DaVinci board to DVEVM 1.10. I have
CCS 3.2 and I'm trying to download the tools to work
on the DSP side. I went to the TI site and it list
several versions of each tool, which one do I use?

DSP/BIOS - 5.20, 5.21, 5.30, or 5.31?
xDAIS Developer's Kit - 4.00, 4.10, or 5.10?
Framework Components - 1.0, 1.02, or 1.10.1?

Thanks!

Regards,
Andy
