Hi Andy, I suggest you look into buying the DVSDK, which should enable you to develop on the DSP side. It is a great way to save you from the many headaches of trying to gather a tested permutation of the various software.
If you really wish to do this on your own, here is what's being used in the DVSDK for your reference (not sure if you will find these exact versions on the external web): BIOS 5.30.00.11 xDAIS 5.00 Framework Components 1.00.03 Codec Engine 1.02 Best regards, Vincent -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Andy Ngo Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 9:17 PM To: [email protected] Subject: What version fo DSP/BIOS, xDAIS, Frame Components do I need? Hi, I just updated my DaVinci board to DVEVM 1.10. I have CCS 3.2 and I'm trying to download the tools to work on the DSP side. I went to the TI site and it list several versions of each tool, which one do I use? DSP/BIOS - 5.20, 5.21, 5.30, or 5.31? xDAIS Developer's Kit - 4.00, 4.10, or 5.10? Framework Components - 1.0, 1.02, or 1.10.1? Thanks!
