Hello all,

I'm having some difficulty getting BT.656 video to work with the
VPFE; I'm modifying the current vpfe driver, including removing support for
the TVP driver. What are the required registers to be setup and what values
should they have for BT.656 to work? Here's some info on my video:

"CCIR-656 digital video output, 10-bit parallel (ITU-R BT.656.4, SMPTE 125)
525-line video operating at 4:2:2 recommendation (ITU-R BT.601 Part A)"

That's the description of the video source coming in, its 10-bits + PCLK

I've configured using the v4l2 driver for NTSC, with D1 height and width
(720x480), 525 lines

In SYN_MODE register, what should I set HDPOL, VDPOL, FLDOUT and VDHOUT?
(all 1s?)

Should I set the HD_VD_WID, or PIX_LINES reg? (not set right now)

In CCDCFG,

Should I set VDLC? Should I change FIDMD to 2h? (its 00h)

I've changed BW656 to 10-bit mode

The rest of the horizontal, veritical settings I've let unchanged from the
driver...

Right now, I do get interrupts, but I get interrupts every 1290us!!

AND more importantly, my field id doesn't ever change! (ccdc_getfid())

Thanks

Jerry
