I want to use JTAG to update u-boot.
This is what I have:

- Spectrum Digital Incorporated

Must I have any other hardware item to be able to use JTAG to update u-boot?
Can I just hack a simple JTAG parallel cable and connect it to any of
the two JTAG adapters I have? If so, where can I find specs to do it?
Is there any software in Linux I can use, or must I use CCS?

PS: I also have a JTAG ICE mk-II for AVR. Can that be of any use?
