Hi all.

I have a question about cursor. I want to display an arrow cursor on video window or osd window.

For using davinci chip, there are two ways to implement cursor- s/w, h/w cursor. If I use the s/w cursor,

it is possible because this way doesn't depend on a specfic chip. But, for a davinci chip that arm controlls all

peripheral devices, s/w is also overloading task. So, to reduce the arm usage, I want to implement an arrow

cursor using h/w cursor.

I found that there was rectangular cursor window in davinci. But, it seems that rectangular cusor is only used to

draw rectangular boundary around the rectagular icon or box. I wonder if it is possible to draw an arrow cursor

using rectangular cursor.

I think that it is implementable if it is possible for rectangular cursor to use sdram or file's bitmap.

If it's possible to use sdram or file's bitmap, please advice me of the way to implement that.

Best luck to all

KiJun, Kwon
