Hi,

I'm really interested in doing what you guys are doing, in particular, getting
a JFFS2 filesystem working in the NOR flash. I posted early for help or
instructions on setting up such a filesystem (I have a 4 ramdisk.gz that I like
to convert to JFFS2 on the NOR flash) on the DVEVM. Hopefully, someone can
point me in the right directions with some instructions/procedures (for
example, what I need to do in u-boot and what I need to do in the Linux
kernel). Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Andy

This is just a warning, I don't think it can affect the loading of init. The
warning popped up in some of my previous tests too, but init was able to start
anyway.

Now I'm trying to use the Platform Image Builder shipped with DevRocket, and
I'm having the "no init found" problem too. I've selected the busybox profile,
built it and copied all the files into the MTD partition, but when I boot the
board the kernel panics in the same way: it successfully mounts the partition
(ro or rw, it doesn't matter), but then it can't find init, even if it's there,
with all the necessary symlinks. Maybe it's something that has to do with
busybox itself?

It's a shame, because this Platform Builder is very nice, I would be glad to
use it: it reminds me the Target Designer for XP Embedded, I wonder if MS has
copied from MV or vice versa. ;-)

Anyway, if you solve the problem please let me know; I will do the same.

Cheers, Lorenzo
