Hi,
I've been reading the spraah2.pdf (Building a Small Embedded Linux Kernel
Example) and am able to build my ramdisk.gz for use
on the DVEVM. Unfortunately, the document (or any other TI document I could
find) doesn't cover how to do something similar
for a JFFS2 image. I have read throughout this list and have seen bits and
pieces of people having partial / complete success
in doing create a JFFS2 image on the DVEVM NOR flash. I googled the net and
see that there are a few documents out therre
that go into in-depth details of how to do so for other specific embedded
systems (using Linux 2.4), etc, but they seem rather
complicated. Can anyone who has done this successfully summarize exactly what
has to be done (i.e. what changes to u-boot,
what changes to the kernel, how to create a JFFS2 image, etc)? The ramdisk.gz,
as explained by spraah2.pdf, seems so simple
to do; I hope to see an equivalent one for the JFFS2 image.
Regards,
Andy
