Hi,

I'm little confused on how davinci supports HD displays. As I understand from
the spru37 (vpbe) an external VPBECLK is required for HD displays. Does this
mean we need a separate HD encoder ? If this is the case then what role VENC
plays when external encoder is also present ? Will it work in slave mode ? or
just a bypass ?

Any insight on the hardware design wrt to HD on davinci will be of great help

Thanks
