Hi JP,
TI demos generate and plays only Elementary Stream .264 files.
So if you have muxed a 264 into a MP4 using YAMB, you cannot play
the MP4 into TI's demo. You have to demux it back to a 264 file (with YAMB)
to be able to play it with TI's demo
There is no TI provided software that can play a MP4 file format
If this is your goal, you can modify TI demo code to add support for MP4 file
by adding
a MP4 File Format library such as avformat from FFmpeg O.S. project.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jean-Michel.

Subject: convert *.264 to *.mp4
Hello, davinci-linux-open-source
What tools can convert *.264 to *.mp4, I try to use yamb2.0, but the
converted file only can play on pc. The demuxed frame will be reject when using
TI h264 decoder on dvevm.
And I found that ervery frame of the converted file( .mp4 ) is less than
the original file (*.264) few bytes. I guess some information is loss after
convert to *.mp4 using yamb2.0.
So who use what tool convert to *.mp4, and play on dvevm successfully.
Thanks!!!
