I have a JTAG setup question. We’re using the USB XDS510 emulator and CCS 3.2
to talk to the DVEVM board.
The DVEVM technical reference says that we have to put the boot mode into “Boot
from ROM UART” (positions 1
and 2 of red S3 switch set to ON) for the emulator to be able to flash NOR
flash using flashwriter_nor.out. Why does
the boot mode have to be in “Boot from ROM UART”? Our custom board will have
boot mode hardwired to “Boot from
AEMIF”, does that mean we will have issue trying to flash the NOR flash?
