In the file dsplink/gpp/src/ldrv/HAL/Davinci/hal_psc.c is the function HAL_PscGemReset. It appears that this function resets the DSP. You'll have to search to figure out exactly which register is being written to that performs this. It appears to be clearing bit 8 (0x100) from the first address in the SYS Module of the DSP.
