I have recently submitted a patch for review to the ARM kernel mailing
list[1] which adds the base kernel support for the TI DaVinci platform
to the mainline linux kernel (currently 2.6.21-rc5.) This patch will go
through some initial review on the linux-arm-kernel mailing list, and I
will then submit it it to the ARM kernel maintainer.

Once the core kernel patch is accepted, we will begin submitting patches
to add the rest of the core features (clocks, DMA, GPIO, etc.) followed
by the drivers.

The community review process can take some time, so this message is also
to say that there will be minimal activity in the DaVinci git tree while
our efforts are focused on getting core DaVinci support into the
mainline kernel.
