Hi,

Does the oss on MontaVista pro 4 kernel support the mmap() functionality for
audio drivers? I need to implement the shared buffer mechanism between audio
driver and application. So I am using the mmap() functionality for the same.
But I am facing issues like kernel hanging and generation of spurious
interrupts using it. Even I am not able to see the debug messages put in
audio_mmap function. What could be the possible reason behind this behavior?
And please let me know the possible ways to implement this mechanism using
mmap() and what should be taken care of to achieve this.

Thanks in advance.
