Hi Euna C,

To setup resizer correctly, you need be careful with the coefficients.

Hi, I am trying to test the Resizer using the demo applications provided with
the app note "Understanding the DaVinci Resizer" (SPRAAI7). When I run the
demos all they show is a heavily distorted version of the previous frame (after
running another demo e.g. encodedecode, or the blue boot screen if no demos
were run before running the resize demo).

On the TI website their FAQ suggests that the resizer may produce artifacts due
to write overflows, I don't think I would class what I'm seeing as artifacts
but I wanted to check this out anyway. However the register definitions they
give to allow you to check for overflows don't seem to be correct (the FAQ
lists them as RSZx_WBL_O and the app not lists them as VPSS_PCR.RSZx_WBL_O
(where x is 1 to 4) but neither of these definitions work when compiling.
Has anyone else had problems with the display output of the resizer demos or
tried using these overflow registers?
I am using DVEVM/DVSDK v.120.
Thanks,
Euan C
