John,
Yes Webcams have been working with Davinci USB including the
Philips chipset based webcams. Support for ISOC is getting officially
added to the 2.6.10 DaVinci tree at TI.

Subject: USB Webcams and Isochronous Transfers
Hi All,
Has anyone got a usb webcam to work on Davinci, using either the
Montavista 2.6.10 kernel, or the GIT kernel?
I have a Phillips webcam, based in the pwc chipset, for which I have
found linux drivers. The device enumerates ok, but opening the device
creates the following errors, repeated ad nauseum....
syslogd/606: BUG in musb_ep_program at drivers/usb/musb/musb_host.c:1811
From searching this list it appears that there may be issues with using
Isochronous transfers in general.
Has anyone got any webcam at all working? If so what model was it and
what steps did you need to take?
Thanks in advance,
John Matthews.
