I thought doing this a while ago. But when I called Spectrum Digital, they
warned me that it would be very-very difficult to bring up a 'bare' EVM
board. It wasn't very clear to me what the reason exactly  was. (No
bootloader ?). I had the same thing confirmed by another source.

I also heard that the TI samples are locked to an ID on the EVM. So they
won't run on a bare board. 

Maybe someone can shine a light on this ? What tools would be needed to
bring up a spectrum digital board.
