Hi,
Not sure if I've just been really stupid and missed something obvious but no
matter what display configuration I choose in my bootargs I don't get any
output on DC5 (some of the pins sit at differnt voltages but there is no change
in any of the signals) but I always get an output on the DACs and S-Video. Have
I missed something obvious or could there be a problem with the board?
Thanks,
Euan

Subject: DVEVM analog RGB + SYNC?

Hi,
I am using the DACs on the DVEVM to output analog RGB but I need HSYNC and
VSYNC signals for my display. DC5 (Video Output) has HSYNC and VSYNC pins but I
have been unable to get any output from them while using the DACs as my video
output, is the digital interface disabled when using the DACs? I have been told
that to output RGB + SYNC I need to connect a THS8200 daughter card to DC5 and
use the DVEVM digital output through the THS8200 DACs to get the full set of
outputs. To me it just seems like a lot of bother just to get a simple sync
signal, there must be a way to output these syncs without the need for extra
hardware. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks,
Euan
