Hi, I have setup my board to output on DC5 in RGB888 and my video output should be 800x600 (SVGA), we are still in the process of setting up an output device (at the moment we are going to try using a frame grabber) but I am a little worried about the pixel clock frequency. For SVGA 60Hz a 40MHz pixel clock is needed but since the input to our board is an NTSC camera our frame rate is only 30fps so I'm assuming I could use a 20MHz pixel clock. However, so far I have only been able to find the clock frequency for the DACs which can only be set to 27MHz or 54MHz and I have noticed that my output is currently running at 27MHz (measured on a scope), is this also a limitation of the digital output? or is there anyway I can change the pixel clock frequency? I have seen many posts on this list from people who have use the digital output for SVGA and higher resolutions, how did you setup the pixel clock? thanks, Euan _______________________________________________ Davinci-linux-open-source mailing list [email protected] http://linux.davincidsp.com/mailman/listinfo/davinci-linux-open-source
