We are building a custom board with a DM6446 and a Virtex4 FX100 FPGA.
The FPGA implements (among other things) a customized Ethernet switch
and we need to get Ethernet packets to/from the DaVinci into the switch.
1) Is there any kind of driver that would allow the VLYNQ to be used as
a network interface? Has anyone ever used the VLYNQ in this sort of
role? If not, how hard would it be to implement something like this?
2) Is there some other (better) way of doing this? Like connecting the
MII/MDIO interface lines from the DaVinci's EMAC to the FPGA and its
packet switch.
