I have a set of patches that were based against 2.6.23 that made the
SD/MMC driver mostly functional. I never got around to submitting them
because there were still unresolved issues (see next para). I intend to
port them to 2.6.24 early this week and post.
There will still be work to do on this, as in their current state they
do not pass all the tests in Pierre Osman's mmc test framework (failed
on unaligned accesses and non-2^n sized accesses, which differed
depending whether or not it was using DMA or PIO, IIRC).
