This patch mainly ports the video resizer driver by TI to Davinci 6446

In this and in your previous patch [1] you don't talk about git
kernel, right?
I can't apply your patches to 2.6.23 DaVinci git kernel nor recent
2.6.24 as they don't have anything else than davinci-rtc.c in
drivers/char.
Do you like to send patches for recent git kernel?
Dirk
Neuros create git tree from:
from git://source.mvista.com/git/linux-davinci-2.6
TAG: pre-2.6.24-merge
Okay.
But how should I apply which patches in which order?
Simply taking video-resizer-port.patch which contains e.g.
diff --git a/linux-2.6.23/drivers/char/davinci_resizer.c
b/linux-2.6.23/drivers/char/davinci_resizer.c
index a1197f3..07463ca 100644
--- a/linux-2.6.23/drivers/char/davinci_resizer.c
+++ b/linux-2.6.23/drivers/char/davinci_resizer.c
...
doesn't apply cause there is no davinci_resizer.c.
Do you mean ti_davinci_mv_1_0_video_resizer_driver_009 has to be
applied *before* video-resizer-port.patch to 2.6.23? If I try this I get
Applying patch patches/ti_davinci_mv_1_0_video_resizer_driver_009
patching file drivers/char/Kconfig
Hunk #1 succeeded at 116 with fuzz 2 (offset 19 lines).
Hunk #2 FAILED at 1059.
Hunk #3 succeeded at 1031 with fuzz 2 (offset -57 lines).

patching file drivers/char/Makefile
Hunk #1 FAILED at 102.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- rejects in file drivers/char/Makefile
...
Best would be if you could send *one* patch for 2.6.23. Or even
better, for recent 2.6.24 DaVinci git.
Many thanks
Dirk
