Dzuy, DaVinci support CF over PalmChip IDE controller in TrueIDE mode only. PCMCIA mode is not supported.

However, when examine the CF pins, it's actually configured in PCMCIA mode by default. In order to support IDE, the palm_bk3710 module does the translation to TrueIDE mode. There is one mention of the word PCMCIA mode in SPRUE21, which basically says what I said above. That gives me a glimmer of hope, but am I chasing something that's really not there?
