Hi,
I've looking for an option of progamming NAND flash
for davinci based boards using external programmer.
The trouble I'm facing is the davinci hardware ECC
generation. It's obvious that we cannot have the
external programmer to generate the NAND ECC for the
binaries it is flashing to NAND as davinci hardware
ECC generation is not in standard format
Do we have "software implementation" of davinci
hardware ECC algorithm ? Is the algorithm itself is
different for davinci hardware ECC compared to regular
512B algos or only the ecc storing format is different
Any ideas on how to handle ECCs during external NAND
flash programming for mass production will be great
