There is a later version of the DVFlasher utility on the DVEVM update site. I would suggest you look at that to see if you can determine if there are any changes that might change the results you are seeing. Please note that the UBL was never officially tested on a DM6441 device since there is no EVM with that chip available to me.

The NAND flash chip we are using is K9F1G08, a big block device with page size of 2k. The ram is 256M and CPU is dm6441. When we try to flash the UBL via uart we get the following messages. DVEVM: Initializing NAND flash... DVEVM: Correct devID = A1 found DVEVM: Writing UBL to NAND flash DVEVM: Number of blocks needed for header and data: 0x00000001 DVEVM: Attempting to start in block number 0x00000001. DVEVM: Unprotecting blocks 0x00000001 through 0x00000001. DVEVM: Erasing blocks 0x00000001 through 0x00000001. DVEVM: Writing header DVEVM: eccvalue[0] 0X00000000 DVEVM: eccvalue[1] 0X00000000 DVEVM: eccvalue[2] 0X00000FFF DVEVM: eccvalue[3] 0X00000FFF DVEVM: Tempsparevalue 0X00000000 DVEVM: Tempsparevalue 0X00000000 DVEVM: Tempsparevalue 0X00000000 DVEVM: NAND ECC failure! DVEVM: Starting UART Boot.. then another try again. Is there anyone use the same nand chip with me? does every one have occured this problem? Looking forward to your advice, thanks! ________________________________ 雅虎邮箱,您的终生邮箱! <http://cn.mail.yahoo.com/>
