Last time I compiled spca5xx it was not ready for cross-compiling out of the 
box.
I had to edit makefile manually, I guess the only thing to change is kernel 
source
address in the makefile and the compiler. The rest is so straightforward. 
Please 
note that it's using your host machine's kernel sources in your case not the 
target's.
