Ah, great new pages, thanks! This is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for.. trying to work out how to program up blank boards that we are just getting together. Unfortunately for me those pages do not discuss "mkyaffs2image" in depth at the moment. I am trying to use a Ronetix PEEDI to flash the boards and their man tells me that mkyaffs2image should create the image with the correct OOB(ECC) data already in it. I suppose this means it has to be DM355-aware. If anyone has any clues about this then please let me know. I see there is a version of mkyaffs2image with the EVM SDK, but no source code. We can get as far as programming the kernel and booting, we could set boards up to boot off the network the first time and create the yaffs partitions.. but that is an ugly workaround.
