Hi,

'minicom' and other such serial programs allow file transfer using some menu
option (ctrl-A s in minicom for example)....

The program you are using on the target may enter a 'server' mode (for kermit,
XModem, ZModem etc). The terminal program can then send the file using the
protocol chosen.

So no need for multiple serial ports...

Subject: u-boot and serial transfer

Hi all,

It can be a _really_ stupid question, but:
how can i transfer file through serial port, while the serial port is occupied
by a console program (and i'm giving commands to u-boot) ??

imho, i should have at least two serial interface, right?
thanks, bye!
