Hi, I recently had to update the kernel lsp patch level. After this, the precompiled dsplinkk.ko and cmem.ko included with the dm6446 evm kit, stopped working.
Recompiling cmem with the new kernel was easy. Recompiling dsplinkk was a bit tricky, but using the included docs I managed go get it working on the target. But now I get TraceUtil> Error: Failed to open codec engine "encode" on the Engine_open call (this is the encode demo). So I assume I have to rebuild the codec server file (encodeCombo.x64P) to match the new dsplink? Is there no way to make a new dsplinkk that will work with the new kernel, but still work with the old codec file? And If I have to build a new codec server, how do I do that? (I have the DVSPB).
