I've investigated further and that for some reason there are extra
macroblocks added to the front. The first macroblock displayed is a
black & white square, the second is a multi-coloured blur, then due to
the number of macroblocks per line the remaining two macroblocks that
should be displayed at the end of the line end up being the first two
blocks on the next line.

 

I'm using the davinci chip to generate a jpeg image, then I'm stripping
off the header and adding a M-JPEG header (as per RFC 2435). So I don't
get what I'm doing wrong!
